Step into your own private jungle sanctuary, which features over a mile of hiking trails winding through the property. These trails invite you to slow down, explore, and experience the natural beauty of Costa Rica at your own pace. Along the way, you'll pass tropical gardens, towering palms, flowering plants, fruit trees, and quiet places to sit, listen, and take in the sounds of the jungle.

A living tropical garden
The property is surrounded by lush edible landscaping and tropical fruit trees, creating the feeling of a private fruit forest. You'll find several varieties of bananas and plantains, rambutan, guanabana, sweet guava, sour guava, mandarin limes, oranges, tangerines, mangoes, avocados, coconuts, and more.
Ornamental tropical plants and trees, including heliconias, jacaranda, and fragrant ylang ylang — the tropical flower famously used in Chanel No. 5 perfume — are mixed throughout the property, along with more than 15 varieties of palm trees from places such as Malaysia, Madagascar, and other parts of the world.
It is a living tropical garden, where beauty, fragrance, and fresh fruit are part of the everyday experience.
Costa Rica's biodiversity
Surrounded by jungle, the property is alive with wildlife. Guests may see white-faced monkeys, toucans, cusingas, pavones, hummingbirds, trogons, iguanas, anteaters, sloths, and other tropical animals moving through the trees and gardens. In the distance, you can often hear howler monkeys calling through the forest, along with the unmistakable sound of laughing falcons.
